About Emissivity
Method for determining emissivity
1 measuring the emissivity of materials by directly measurement
Measuring the real temperature by a contact thermometer, and then use an infrared thermometer to measure it. Adjust the emissivity value of the material until the measured temperature is equal to the real temperature. The emissivity currently is the emissivity of the material.
2 materials with lower emissivity can not be measured by direct measurement
Use black tape stick to the surface of the material or spray black paint on the surface of the material (black tape and black paint emissivity is 0.95), when the temperature of the material reaches equilibrium, use the infrared thermometer (preset emissivity is 0.95, 0.1-1.00 adjustable) to measure the temperature of the covering material. Adjust the emissivity of the instrument until the measured temperature is equal to the real temperature, the emissivity currently is the emissivity of the material.

High and low temperature warning
1) Long-Press the MODE button about 2 seconds, to enter the settings page
2) Set the High temperature warning temperature by use buttons on both sides when screen show “Hi”.
3) Short press the MODE, then the “Low” will be showed on the screen. you can set the Low temperature warning temperature on this page.
4) Long-Press the MODE button again to return to the original page.
Switch unit
Short press the “MODE” to switch unit on the origial page.
Laser light on and off
Short press the left “*” button to put Laser light on or off.
Sound on and off
Short press the Right put button to Sound on or off.
Sound adjustment
1) Long-Press the MODE button about 2 seconds, to enter the settings page
2) Short press MODE button three times, then you can see a horn showed on the screes
3) Adjust the sound by use buttons on both sides. right”UP”, Left “Down”.
4) Long-Press the MODE button again to return to the original page.
Emissivity adjustment
1) Long-Press the MODE button about 2 seconds, to enter the settings page
2) Short press MODE button two times, then you can see “E” showed on the screes
3) Adjust the sound by use buttons on both sides. right”UP”, Left “Down”.
4) Long-Press the MODE button again to return to the original page.
